This Yoko Ono-inspired track started out as an abstract musical experiment on an old baby grand piano; with randomness and atonality in mind. The lid of the piano was raised, and the strings were randomly manipulated. It was recorded on one side of a Tascam 246 cassette tape; then the tape was flipped over and recording was done over the previously recorded backwards track. This entire process was repeated twice on a total of four different tracks. One side of the tape became Northern Southwest Eastern Post Rebellion Ritual; The other side of the tape became Southern Northeast Western BBQ Dinner Dance. Two tracks going forward; and two tracks going backwards simultaneously. Effects were later added at a studio in Santa Cruz.
