about
FOR CIA USAGE ONLY: THE BICYCLE THIEF and SOUTH OF HEAVEN were both recorded sometime in the mid 1980s in DAN ARLIE's parents' garage in Palo Alto, California - These particular recordings are one of now-famous producer and recording engineer ERIC VALENTINE's very first recording efforts [DAN and ERIC went on to form the now infamous T-RIDE] > And while the original master tapes somehow got 'lost in the shuffle' so to speak; other tapes were sealed inside TUPPERWARE containers in a closet for many years, consisting mainly of old analog tapes which were eventually made into CDRs, then given to guitar wizard JIMMY FINLEY, who made copies and circulated; only to get ripped off as various people illegally profited from the copied CDRs around the Palo Alto area, without permission - Now those same infamous recordings are available here [legally] online in WAV format!

Gnarly punk rock from the Philadelphia duo is unhinged in the best way, an in-the-red sonic assault a la Motorhead/Stooges. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2024
This electro-rock project from a member of Feeble Little Horse is an unexpected blend of noisy guitars and glitchy live drums. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 14, 2023
Magnificently haunting songs that are full of shadow and fog, Sara Ardizzoni’s imposing alto cutting a path through a thicket of guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 15, 2022
